I guess I have to vote yes just by the pure fact that I'm nearly always on it at some point... There's just not a good alternative. Resetera is awful and reddit has one opinion so.... here I am!

Its my favorite board but if it was to vanish I'd be fine. I have like 3 or 4 sports websites alone that are more important to me :/

gamefaqs feels like my personal corner of the internet
there are plenty of sites with better features, content, etc, but i enjoy gamefaqs and this board in particular for being a niche/unique community and having a particular sense of humor and shared history. the fact that it's difficult for newcomers to find helps as well --- You did indeed stab me in the back. Yeah, it's definitely got it's share of problems, but I have been introduced to so many different movies, tv shows and video games through here that it's worth it. Plus contests and ranking topics always give me little things to look forward to

What even is a site? I use gameraven so don't really ever go to gamefaqs.com anymore.
If we include sites accessed via apps, then i would prefer my site, youtube, twitch, netflix, amazon, reddit, wapo, and probably a few others all over gamefaqs --- rip imgcake ... Copied to Clipboard!

I like GameFAQs because of B8, mostly, and I like B8 because it's a place where there's no limit on topicality but the average member is nerdy enough to talk about things that I'm interested in. So if I were to talk about some dorky stuff, people would get it.

The site in general has long, long outlived its usefulness and the game boards are legitimately horrid pits of toxicity.
