VITA has better performance and titles --- IMO. The downside is that some games on PSP never got a digital release so they're unable to play on Vita since it doesn't support UMD's. I'm sure those copies are expensive and rare anyway. Some games aren't supported due to no touch screen or touch pad too. If you want to collect I think this is probably the last chance to do it at a reasonable price.
