Most of all digital PSP games are playable on VITA.
You cannot access PSN on PSP anymore and need to download titles via another console. VITA has better performance and titles --- IMO. But both are dead handhelds for new releases. --- "The monster, instantly recognized by all who knew it in life, seems at first to breathe and have a pulse, but, alas, it does not." ... Vita feels better to use and has a better screen so go for that if you can.
The downside is that some games on PSP never got a digital release so they're unable to play on Vita since it doesn't support UMD's. I'm sure those copies are expensive and rare anyway. UMD's are fucking weird and constantly make noises. --- Kind Regards, Darmik ... Copied to Clipboard!

Just providing some of the requested specifics... As far as portables go only the DS and 3DS have comparably cheap games out there. If you want to collect I think this is probably the last chance to do it at a reasonable price. GBA games aren't rare on account of how much it sold and yet the games have become so rare counterfeit carts are produced for a profit. --- Favorite Games: BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Street Fighter III: Third Strike, Bayonetta, Bloodborne thats a username you habe - chuckyhacksss ... Whats the best way to buy one these days? The Vita? I got mine on ebay the other month from Japan, the going rate is $100~$130. They function almost exactly the same aside from the O button being confirm, and the X button being cancel. Though you can fix that with some homebrew along with the bullshit memory cards. Solo_Wing posted... Can that work on non modded vita?Unfortunately no. However it is piss easy to do and Sony stopped caring about mods to the point they stop trying in their last patch. There is honestly no reason not to do the SD2Vita mod, since memory cards are long out of production and Micro-SDs through the gameslot are a lot faster. --- ayy lmao ayy lmao || oaml oaml yya yya ayy lmao ayy lmao || oaml oaml yya yya ... While I would never endorse doing anything that goes counter to the Sony's TOS. It is a way easier to break the TOS of the PSP and make it play more games. However that is a horrible thing to do and you should not look into that or even try.
