Watching this live on the news. Protests were able to grab him out of the truck and there was a huge crowd around him. Can't tell if they beat him down or what. A lot of chaos and confusion.

This looks like this could have been a massive tragedy, but was narrowly avoided. Reporters are still trying to figure out what is going on, but it looks like the driver was doing this purposefully.

Possibly as part of a larger group movement with various people encouraging him. This is something of hearsay though as I'm not seeing widespread reporting. Apparently this info is coming from protestors who ripped him out of the truck and recovered his phone.
