Quality source. If we're going to make up numbers I read that over 30% of those infected die.

Who would have thought that a foreign-born virus whose disastrous spread was largely aided by that country's attempts to cover up and later downplay the existence of that virus -- going so far as to enlist an international health organization to spread their lies -- would encourage a rise in nationalistic sentiment and thereby increase the appeal of hate groups? Events like these are always going to be a boon to anti-globalists. I imagine anti-capitalist groups are also having a field day because they can point to this as one more vulnerability created by international trade.

Some people at risk have to work b/c they either 1) don't qualify for socially security disability, 2)are waiting to learn if they qualify for social security disability or not (you can wait for over a year or two once you apply, and might have to apply at least twice), or 3) don't want to depend on the federal government in order to survive. What gets me about the whole coronavirus pandemic is the lack of empathy people have for one another; they can't put themselves in someone else's shoes, or relate to those who have a real reason to fear dying from coronavirus. The worst part is that most of these people claim that they're "Christians" and attend church every Sunday.

newsflash: people have been working. All of the essential workers you MAGA types look down on have been working and risking their lives.

all of those doctors and nurses trying to keep the covid patients alive have been working.

all the cops the very fine people were screaming at in these protests have been working.

so when you say that people are not working I dont know what the hell you are talking about. What you want is to have some of the businesses that are too unsafe to open to open up so you can get service and comfort: hair salons, bars, Pilates studios, gyms, etc.

last but not least, what do MAGA, confederate and swastika flags have to do with opening up said businesses? Read OP again, this topic is about certain kind of people turning this into a rally cry, its not about whether we should open up the businesses or not.
