F/GO: Seventh Singularity beated. That was a really great end stretch. Still dunno how I'd compare it to Camelot, both were excellent. I'll just say it's a tie as a cop out. The real final boss was: Ushiwakamaru III tbqh. Though in my defense the real boss in that fight was the party order being scrambled randomly to begin the fight. Some results were like "oh god i'm dead" and others were "Yeah, that's fine." Order Change was a huge help in "fixing" it but still. If it decided to go really bad (No Waver OR Mash) it was basically an auto-lose whereas if I had at least one of them I could Order Change in the other and work from there. Technically the fight I had to try the most. Though I did cheese Quetzalcoatl earlier because the alignment gimmick where all Servants classified as "Good" on the morality axis were useless was pretty devastating to my party. Only Fujino and Saber Shiki could do anything, and at half damage. Technically I think F/Z Berserker cheats the system by being like Chaotic Insane or whatever but of course who got focus fired immediately before he could do anything? So I Command Sealed my way out of that fight. >_>

All the Void Dust dropping in the end of this singularity was so beautiful too. >_>

Actual final boss was easy thanks to all the crazy buffs you got but it was still super hype. Started the very beginning of the Final Singularity and oh my god it's the Infinity War of F/GO. Even more hype.

Over 100 Void Dust in Babylonia good times.

I loved the last 30-40% of Babylonia a lot. All that stuff was awesome. Gameplay-wise, I like the last battles against Tiamat a lot too. You feel like the enemy's real powerful, but you've got a ton of advantages too.

Solomon is good times too. Shorter than the previous ones, but fun as a conclusion. The event that requires Solomon completion is coming up in a bit over three weeks, so you should be fine on that front as well!

Whew, finally finished watching episodes 5 and 6 of the Michael Jordan documentary. The Dream Team stuff was the thing of legends. I'd heard stories about that scrimmage, so it was cool to see actual footage of it.

Also, I think the Finals against the Suns was my favorite series of the six, so it was cool to relive it a bit.

F/GO: Uh oh. Looks like my progress in the Final Singularity halted at an inconvenient moment! o7 Mash even though you're totes coming back. However, you haven't yet and while that's okay in the Singularity I can't deploy you in the event now which makes managing cost more of a pain. May have to make a few sidequests back into the Singularity to remedy this. However I may be best off waiting until later when my last Command Seal comes back from the Quetzalcoatl fight because Goetia is a cheater who I think I can theoretically beat without that but I don't want to waste AP waiting for him to cooperate and not spam his NP Charge faster than I can mitigate when there's an event going on. Giving up the Front Line as sacrifices to his cheese move with a "f you" of that Craft Essence that inflicts NP Seal and Curse on Death on one of them, I brought him down to about 33% with Assassin Shiki/Waver/Friend Merlin but critical attacks and charge spam overwhelmed them.

It's actually a moment like this where I wish I had all my Servants levelled up to viable levels because I can imagine some interesting strategies I'd like to see but I really only have like 8ish Servants at levels that can hang here. Like I can conceive of a strategy in which you NP Seal him on Turn 1 to let him cast those cheese buffs but prevent the Noble Phantasm from firing, but then keeping him NP Sealed or Stunned on Turns 2 and 3 so the buffs expire. But I just don't have the cast required to make that worth attempting. Like I could throw a gimmick team up that could do it but they'd immediately die because they aren't leveled so it'd just be a thought experiment and not actually worth it.

I understand that if I started when the game launched that may well have been true and this is more a function of my super late join time but still !!

Tifa gets the dress you choose for her when you've done the sidequests in chapter 3 (or defaults mature if you don't do them all). Aerith's and Cloud's depend on how many and which quests you do in chapter 8 and 9.

You're on the last or second last battle, so it might be worth going through, even during an event, if you need Mash that badly. Can't remember what I did for that fight...

Futurama is a first ballot HoF show. So good.

Eh, I don't need her that badly. It's just nice having a 0 Cost Servant who also happens to be Level 80/80 and all her skills at Level 10! Gives a bit of extra flexibility in Craft Essences.

I mean, let's be honest. With the people in charge, it makes sense to lack faith in what happens next.

But on the other hand, these people recreated something beautiful here in this game. Like 95% of it is elevating the old game and 5% is completely nuts. They had so much care with the parts they recreated there's no reason to think they won't have the same care next game. And unlike everything else in the compilation, they did the characters justice. With one exception, but again that depends on what happens next.
