I think that's why they had to go after old tweets. Even people who grew up in lower class neighborhoods around minorities are expected to follow the upper middle white class morality dictations now. It's really a mess too, because obviously many black people do think it's wrong in any context, but the driving force here is the corporations involved in the FGC now, and specifically EVO, which are after the money of that white upper middle class. It's something the FGC, and specifically the black members (who make up a disproportionate mount compared to other competitive gaming communities) need to figure out for themselves and change at a cultural level. If you've never been to a local, you should go check one out.
