I met JC and Chris Kirkpatrick from NSYNC at a bar in Nashville last summer. I was talking to Chris for like five minutes without realizing who he was. then he asked if I wanted to meet his friend JC, and they offered to take a pic with me and my girlfriend

there were like ten people in the bar, total at this time

Kid from Kid 'n Play

Mostly musicians after shows - Nikki Lane, Lindi Ortega, Sascha Konietzko (KMFDM), Justin Furstenfeld (Blue October), and Bradley Bills from Chant (feel kind of bad because his live performance was so fucking surreal but the recorded albums were not the same quality).

Also less of a general celebrity but still famous in his own right: I played blackjack with Matt Pike of the bands High on Fire and Sleep at Psycho Las Vegas 2018. It was 10:30am and he was drunk as shit. As we sat down he had just spilled his drink on the table. Super friendly though. Really gracious when we told him his bands set the night before was great

Got a hug and photo op with Selena Gomez. Met a bunch of wrestlers including Triple H, Seth Rollins, Sasha Banks, Kazuchika Okada, etc.

No, the closest I came was when I saw Jose Oquendo at the driving range, but I didn't approach him as there were enough people bothering him, and I couldn't care less about getting some ball players Hancock.

Bruce Campbell, Steve Gonsalves, Jeffrey Combs, Skeet Ulrich, Kane Hodder. Stan Lee apparently approached me as a kid and talked to me, but I was too young to remember it.

My only celebrity story involves my sophomore college roommate lending some old dude a screwdriver so he could help his daughter fix her bed as she was moving into the dorm.

A week later the old dude came back to return the screwdriver and said "I'd like you to meet someone" and Luis Guzman walked through the door. It was pretty awkward, there was like 4 of us in there and we were playing instruments at the time. We all knew he was famous but no one knew his name. He shook our hands, asked a few questions about the school and left. I think he was scoping it out for his own kid. Nice guy tho.

Funny part is the guy that loaned the screwdriver in the first place was at the Dean's office participating in a sit-in protest lol

I get to talk to some of the musicians who perform where I work. Last year I met Joan Jett and had a short conversation with Kenny G. Also met Kenny Loggins the year before that.

And not really a celebrity unless you know American football but I'm pretty tight with former coach Mike Tice. He comes to my work a few times a year and asks for me by name to assist with his events.

I always tell this story but I met Dave Chappelle when he was in town for a comedy show and I shook his hand. He was at the park with his family and didn't want to make a huge deal that he was there.

I also met Ant and Slug of Atmosphere on two separate occasions. Both of them were able to sign my Rhymesayers Tshirt.

My brother met Gwendoline Christie at a Con and apparently fell in love with her. Whenever she comes up he always makes a point to explain how beautiful and awesome she is.

Nobody particularly famous. I met the guy who played Mike Myers in the late 2000s Halloween (dude is massive, but so nice) and my city's mayor has swung by my work a few times

Had a conversation with Bill Trinen once about some pizza. Never spoke to them but I've intermingled with Reggie and Doug Bowser on a few occasions too.

Also met Treat Williams many years back. I'm not familiar with him but my mom was stoked lmao

In the realm of entertainment, I've really not met anyone very famous. Probably the most famous I could say would be a couple guys from Local H.

Adding sports to the mix, I have to highlight a five minute conversation that I had with Michael Jordan at a Bulls charity event. He commented on a shiner that I had from a sparring match the prior day, and we had a good chat about the local boxing scene.

And in politics, I've met former President George W. Bush, Mitt Romney during his 2012 campaign, and former Illinois Governor Edgar.

Oh sports. I don't pay attention to sports, met a ton of those guys.

I managed a small restaurant owned by an ex-NFL player. Had guys coming in all the time and introducing them to me like I should know who the fuck they were.

After Green Bay won the Super Bowl three of them came by unannounced looking for him. They said their first names and said to tell him they came by. They got kind of awkward when I pretty much blew them off, because people were always coming by acting like they knew the owner and by then I didn't pay attention to them anymore.

They sheepishly explained who they were, then left. I thought that one was kinda funny because they came in strutting around and left looking like school kids who had done something wrong.

...bunch of other guys always always being introduced like "this guy's a legend, etc, etc", I honestly couldn't tell you any of their names.

Never met one or had a real personal interaction.

I did have a conversation with the Denver Broncos PR director who was calling on behalf of Peyton Manning. I was working for NFL shop at the time and he had just signed there, this was around the same time the league had switched Jersey manufacturers and there were shortages and delays everywhere. Peyton was looking for jerseys for his kids.

I've had a conversation with TMZ once, also when I was with NFL shop. It was when Randy Moss had that weird stint where he went back to Minnesota and was gone quickly and was singing with Tennessee. Some idiot was spreading rumors we wouldn't get jerseys for him because he was a flight risk.

At another position I had a technical support chat with an Adult film performer.

I also had an interaction with a bit player from the Walking Dead.

My father was good friends with Niki Sullivan from Buddy Holly and the crickets, used to go over to his house and they would play guitar.

I dont know if hes national famous but people here in Minneapolis certainly know of Fancy Ray, one night around 3 am at my job then about 7 years ago he walked in. Didnt need a photo, just shook his hand and wished him a good night. Nice guy.
