It not surprising. This is America not China people were gonna get upset being locked in and rebel. No way other areas don't start rebeling if this goes on into the summer. Gonna be tough saying stay home with it 90 degrees.

Yes people are that dumb, I worked in retail in a store where the carts don't go outside because they lock. I would always tell customers that it would lock and they still tried to go outside with the cart

also there's a lot of customers that don't understand how an exhange works and it confuses them like as if it was algebra

Unemployment is highly correlated with crime, suicide, and drug abuse.

Nevermind the upcoming wave of poverty that brewing due to a weak economy. It's foolish to assume the economy will pick up right where it left off.

Quarantine has its consequences. Opening the economy has it consequences. People will die regardless of how we proceed. That's the unfortunate truth.

At some point, we will have to make tough decisions and we will have to pick winners and losers because we are months or perhaps years away from a vaccine. We will run into food shortages long before we have a vaccine.

Do we want to save the elderly at the expense of genz and millennials? Or do we want to save genz and millennials at the expense of boomers? Should we quarantine everyone or do we send the young poor off to the front lines like we would in war? These are all tough decisions that we will have to face. The question is where that sweet spot is, the equalibrium, the cost to benefit and so forth. We haven't found it yet and the more we delay, the more lives it costs. All the finger pointing and whining is unproductive.

If only the government would've been prepared and also had some safety nets set up in case something like this were to happen.

they were peddling it long before that. it was the most common conservative talking point ever regarding just about any protest on the internet

then someone actually went and did it and they've since started pretending they never thought that

As Gov. Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan faces harsh criticism from Republicans for her stringent stay-at-home order, hundreds of protesters on Wednesday lined streets in Lansing, the state capital, with some chanting, Recall Whitmer.

The protest, called Operation Gridlock, was organized by the Michigan Conservative Coalition and the Michigan Freedom Fund, a DeVos family-linked conservative group. The Facebook event called on attendees to TAKE ACTION IN LANSING but Not on foot STAY in your VEHICLES!

Would've, could've, should've. All of it is irrelevant now. We need solutions rather than whining. The government being incompetent is nothing new and it wont be the last time. Get used to being disappointed with the government and next time take matters into your own hands because the government will screw up again. Stop relying on the government to save you.

we are the only first world country that has to deal with chuds like these fucking it up for the rest of us.

Notice how this is ONLY happening with right wing groups and in conservative states. We are literally being held hostage by the "Dont Tread On Me" group and its infuriating
