I just looked for the first time, and mine has 78 points, which is only four behind my real bracket. Basically, I'd do better overall now by making a favorites bracket and then changing the completely certain matches >_>

It's also mostly due to me having played about a fourth of the games and mostly picking the game I had heard of when I had played neither. My favorites bracket is perfect in division 2, which is pretty cool.

It will start falling apart in round 3.

I don't have a true favorites bracket, because I've played too few games in this contest to make one. However, I did use this account to enter a bracket that was mostly normal, with the main exception of having my favorite game winning it all. Turns out that gave it a pretty big leg up over a regular favorites bracket, who'd have thought?

I didn't make one because two of my top three favorites this decade were matched together in round 1 but looking over things, it'd be doing decently if I did.

If I had a favorites bracket, I believe I'd have 55 right now. Although I will say a lot of my "choices" would be having to pick between 2 games I don't care about, so I couldn't even call it a favorites bracket.

I have played less than that, I just picked games or franchises that I tend to love a lot, which usually agrees with Gamefaqs.

Also, almost all of my favorites are in the bottom half. I have both Zelda and Smash reaching division finals beating only one game I played. Zelda out of it even.
I lost little points from that in the first round, but more now and a lot next round.

41 points! I only have 4 out of 20 r2 matches correct so far (BOTW, ME2, SMO, and Xenoblade). I'll make a lot of points because I have BOTW going to the finals, but almost everything else in my bracket is dead.

If you want to go based on franchises, I'd say there's only about 10 I care about in the entire contest. As I mentioned in another topic on here, these last 10 years in gaming haven't had very much I was interested in with the exception being the DS/3DS's JRPG library and some of the stuff the Switch has been getting. If anything, the Switch has really been coming out with a ton of stuff I want, however my tastes in video games isn't very mainstream outside of first party Nintendo games.

Currently up to 124 points, still looking fine and with a perfect division 2 lol. It got 8 more points than my main bracket yesterday...

It's downhill from here. Got the rest of the #1 seeds not winning this round (if they're even in it). Though I might get points for the four other division finalists, those are basically the last points I can get in the bottom half.
