I'm so used to magnetizing it onto mechs that I forgot I could play Annoy-o-Module by itself for two turns just now. I needed a mech for Lightfang and had the guy sitting in my hand, waiting for something to play it on before I realized, why am I just not playing the guy as a 2/4 divine shield/taunt and getting the buffs already?

Unless you are still using the card during the nerf refund period, or have a tendency to spend all your dust, it's always best to just disenchant immediately so you don't forget. It's still net neutral if you want to craft it later.

I dusted all the Demon Hunter stuff and Albatross (you can still get full value on that first wave of nerfs btw) even though I might still play them later, just because it's free.

I'm feeling skittish about dusting Frenzied Felwing. It's an adventure card, I've seen a few too many people sad on reddit about not being able to craft Frenzied Felwing (since you can't craft adventure cards).

Dusted Albatross and Waygate. Never actually owned Bloodbloom in the first place..

LOLLL, Slyssa (who was locked on Paladin for the event) beat Firebat's OTK Demon Hunter in the Hearthstone innvitational.

(I don't know why Firebat queued OTK DH into Paladin, aggro DH has to be the better matchup against both Libram Paladin and Murloc Paladin...right?)

I know him, Zalae and Gallon have been playing a lot of OTK DH on stream, so I imagine he was just more familiar with that version of the deck. Not sure if decklists had to be submitted before recent nerfs, or even what the format is since I haven't watched any of the streams yet today.

Broke into top 2000 Legend this morning. Apparently there's more than 20,000 players at Legend this month already, so I'm actually really stoked about getting this high up.

Highlander Priest feels sooooo good. I have a decent shot in basically every single matchup. I need to draw good mid-game (and Apotheosis really helps) to beat Demon Hunter, because I kinda need to outrace them with high health minions. And Face Hunter can be kinda rough if I don't have early plays. Other than that, though, I feel like my winrate is 60%+ against every other high-tier meta deck. Plus, I am a fucking king against other Priests. I honestly can't remember the last time I lost against one. Every single matchup against Rez Priest ends with them like 5 cards deep into fatigue and multiple cards left in my deck because they keep shuffling birds in there to help me out.

Sometimes there's good ones. I'm not really interested in this one though (add a random spell--yeah no, not the kind of tavern brawl that interests me).

I just queued up wild mech paladin (a.k.a. wild deck with a bunch of minions), punched a Demon Hunter's face in, got my pack and left.

This tavern brawl ranks pretty high for me.

1. One attempt.
2. Finished a Play 12 Beasts quest.
3. Got 1/3 on two other quests by playing Hunter.
4. Opened a legendary instead of 40 dust.
5. Not Demon Hunter.

All in all a great experience.

I mean, yeah, if you want to grind out quests it's a pretty good tavern brawl for that.

Every once in a while a tavern brawl comes along that I actually want to play cause I actually enjoy the gameplay, though. Like the ones that mix together a new constructed format by combining a bunch of blocks that never existed at the same time, or by changing the rules of the game somehow. Or the ones where you pick 2 cards and try to make a deck where it gives you 15 copies of each. Some of those I've played 100+ games of. This isn't a brawl that I actually feel compelled to play because I find the gameplay enjoyable.

My favorites are co-op, even though you occasionally get the dude who refuses to read the single sentence at the start and blasts you in the face with something right away, anything where you don't play as the normal classes/hero powers, and the one where you build your deck as you play. The latter is probably my favorite.

I really don't want to play any tavern brawl where you have to build your own deck AND there's a meta that exists pretty much immediately. Top 2/3 are probably my least favorite.

So...apparently there are some people putting Lorewalker Cho into Libram Paladin, and then filling up people's hands with 2 cost Libram of Wisdom (which costs 0 if the opponent passes it back).

Warrior has really good anti-aggro tools, like any build of warrior with the core Risky Skipper Ancharr Armoursmith package is going to beat Demon Hunter. But warrior struggles against greedy decks like Reno Mage. Hack the system gives you a lategame engine to actually fight those decks.

Thinking about crafting a warrior deck.

Stuff I'm feeling ok about potentially crafting:

Ancharr (seems to be needed for every warrior deck right now)
1x Livewire Lance (Just appeals to me more than the Wrenchcalibur package)
Teron Gorefiend (just seems like the kind of thing I like doing--especially a big Teron into Bloodsworn Mercenary, also used in a few wild decks)

Stuff I am a lot more hesitant about touching

Warmaul Challenger (obviously really good with Teron, but ehh...it's epic--maybe I can just run Restless Mummy instead?)
Kargath Bladefist (Good but not core. Do I need it?)
Deathwing Mad Aspect (Good but not core. Do I need it?)
Wrenchcalibur (Just sounds less fun than Livewire Lance, also I don't own a single copy yet)

I do already have Quest, Grommash Hellscream, Captain Greenskin, Blastmaster Boom, 2x Bloodsworn Mercenary 1x Livewire Lance, and 2x Bladestorm.

Thinking I can maybe make a slightly off-meta Egg Warrior and slightly off meta Quest Warrior?

You don't need any of the latter, I think my build doesn't run any of them.

Wrenchcalibur is core to bomb package but you don't need it for other packages, Deathwing and Kargath are decent win conditions but you already run a good amount of armor gain (Quest has the goon, both have armorsmith) and board clears (Skipper is extremely consistent) Your win condition is just to build a strong board in general which you can do with Bloodsworn and Bloodboil Brute.

Warmaul seems good in this meta just to help kill some demon hunter stuff and Hanar but you can try to run good early game (Imprisoned Vilefiend/Tolvir) or I guess Korkron. Maybe even Greenskin.

I did the same thing last year, wasn't feeling like playing any mode in particular so I decided to get all of the classes to 60. Druid was my last class, before taking it to 60 the last time I played it was pre-Naxx when they still had the Force+Roar combo.
