They're GREAT because the whole point of these contests is to draw attention GameFAQs and keep this dying website alive. It's not about us on Board 8 who've been following these matches since Mario vs Servbot; it's about exposing the site to strangers on Reddit or wherever who just might keep coming back once this contest is over. I may not always love the results of rally, but I love seeing today's votals at 25K with 2 hours left to go--especially after most R1 matches topped out at around 21K. From what I'm seeing, ALBW/Minecraft/Mario and obviously Octopath seem to be the ones been benefitted from the rally. Rallying killed my spread bets involving Smash today.
