Not a fan. GT Sport is kind of a low point for the series, but I had a little fun with it in VR until the gimmick wore thin.

it's a great game, but probably the weakest story in the entire series. i would have liked to see it finished, at the very least, but even the leaked footage didn't wrap things up. a disappointing end, narrative-wise, ok?

I liked doing a playthrough but basically just for the novelty. I don't think they did anything interesting with the mechanics to justify having them so it's quite frustrating. I enjoy MGS4 more. I enjoyed Portable Ops more.

GT Sport was a game that I thought might make me actually get a PS4, then it released with fuck all and expected the playerbase to cross their fingers and hope basic features of the series might show up so I noped the fuck away from that. GT7 might be an early title for PS5 so I'm waiting on that.

Ya. Like there's climbing cracks but functional ones were only in very specific locations so they were basically reskinned ladders. The modding system was very linear and opponent weapons scaled with you so you may as well use theirs. You could sneak or go loud in any mission, but each level was clearly geared to one method or another so it was basically "Do it this way, or just make life hard for yourself if that's your kink."

Oh, and they completely murdered MGO so it was completely unlike the previous two so PC MGO3 is completely dead, but hacked PS3 MGO2 on mod servers has players.

imo MGS 4 was the polar opposite, it strayed too far in the direction of story but had absolutely no gameplay. And I hated that one.

MGS 5 went the completely other direction: less story, way more gameplay and mechanics. And I loved it. Some of the best gameplay mechanics Ive ever seen. And it still has great characters / voice acting, and the cutscenes (although scarce) were incredible

Its my favorite from a gameplay standpoint. 3 still holds the favorite spot for story.

Gotta go with this. I remember when I got to play it, I read how it was an unfinished game and just thought "blahblahblah." But then I finished it and was just "I need more!!!" And then I understood why that was such a sticking point.

Best gameplay in the series. They wasted resources on paying Kiefer Sutherland for all 8 of the lines of dialogue Snake had, and couldn't get around to actually finishing the story.

The lack of dialogue for Snake really hurt the overall feel of the game. Playing literally any previous game in the series really makes that clear.

Personally as far as playing MGS3 is still my favorite. But I did enjoy watching other people play MGSV. Super funny watching my friend recruit people by ballooning them into the air.

It's a meh from me. It had some good things like the gameplay but the level designs and rushed job stopped it being great. I'd probably rate it a 6/10. Metal Gear Solid 3 is still the best for me.

Then I played it. I feel in love with concept more than the game. I mean I think I just got over hyped. Happened to me on Andromeda and Colonial marines. Chomping at the bit waiting dreaming then meh.

I overall really liked raiden. Did a good job of showcasing a point brought up in the game that someone put in the right circumstances could become like solid snake in terms of what they are capable of. Raiden personality wise is almost snakes exact opposite. Then with later games coming it out its also added evidence that zero was indeed obsessed with the idea of being able to make another snake.
