I played it from start to finish but the only thing I remember about it was the odd uncanny valley art design and having to flick your wrist to attack.

No, the CD-i Zelda games win that dubious honor hands down.

However, it definitely is one of the weaker entries in the series in my opinion due to its heavy focus on linearity and backtracking through several dungeons, not to mention I had far more trouble getting the Wii MotionPlus controller to work correctly than I would care to admit.

Overall, I had a good time with it. The later parts of the game drag a ton though.

Not if you got the GameCube version and played that on your Wii. Other than getting to use a GameCube controller, the only major difference between the Wii and GameCube versions of the game was that the GameCube version has the world oriented the right way AKA not mirrored on its X-axis just to make Link right handed like what they did to the Wii version.

around the first third to the first half of skyward sword was really fuckin good. it's when the game started throwing filler crap at you that the game started to suffer. filler like having to fight that same boss three different times, collecting musical notes, the stupid stealth missions, etc. without all that stuff the game is a 10/10. shame.

I admit as well, I barely remember anything about the game either. The motion controls weren't fun to use at all. Links item pool in the game was abysmal, and Phi was just a horrible, horrible companion.

Being more so a embodiment of exposition dumbs then the master sword actually. Usually repeating the same information you heard not even a minute ago. Also, the game has easily the worst boss in thefranchise, whom you must face mutiple times, each one progressively worse then the last.

If youre referring to the Imprisoned, then I am in agreement since even the fights against it in Hyrule Warriors were annoying despite Koei Tecmos best attempts to make it less tedious and actually fun.

It's actually tough to decide between it and twilight princess. Twilight princess is hands down garbage, with garbage design, terrifying art direction (man-babies, man-chicken, just terrifying shit all around) and possibly the laziest most barren overworld of all time (botw seems like a decade-in-the-making apology by comparison)

But skyward sword has the stupid motion controls, tedious as hell. And then the gameplay decisions like fighting that annoying boss so many times and an overworld that's also not great... although style wise it's definitely better than TP.

If it weren't for the motion controls, it would easily beat TP, because the other problems it has still don't make it worse than the awfulness of TP. But you add the motion controls on top of it (and not just waggle, they actually doubled down on it) and it becomes more evenly matched in terribleness

Tri Force Heroes and Spirit Tracks are literally unenjoyable garbage.

Dunno how awful Wild Breath is, didn't have a chance to try it yet. Current backlog too big to buy a new system without a game library.
