I apologize for this, I've been really busy today.

My thoughts is that, as it stands, this game has way too many duplicate roles, and its suspicious. Panthera and Death are super similar, Lea and MZero are super similar, Unwim and Plum have literally identical roles with a tracker, who is also similar, on top of that... there's no way they're all telling the truth.

Hmmm, maybe scum does have another bomb then. Also DYL's power is kind of similar to puns' power

I'm now of the mindset to ignore claims almost entirely and focus the lynch on the player instead. This hasn't only gotten us more or less nowhere, its completely killed game activity because everyone is on information overload. I didn't even remember Sultan claimed a track on Plum until he reminded us a topic later. The first post of the previous page was 14 hours ago. This is not a good thing.

There is something that's been bugging me since yesterday though, especially now that MZero fully elaborated on his claim. Lea's claiming a technically confirmable role that makes no sense for scum to have. MZero is claiming a theoretically confirmable role I don't see scum MZero being bold enough to fakeclaim that should be banned as a a scum role. I immediately considered myself confirmable town when I replaced in because my confirmable power should also be banned as a scum role.

Regardless, at this point I wouldn't be surprised if scum has some sort of monster role out there they should have no business having. I'm thinking "Should be banned as a scum role" probably means nothing to this game. There's no way to make sense of the claiming in this game, and there's not going to be one.

Tange, I'd like you to restate why you're so sure on Scare. You're the only one who seems to be exuding confidence. I feel like testing if its overconfidence.

Corrik is the only one to claim a targeting role, but not claim what the role is, by the way. Keep that in mind if all the claimed ones end up dead and town.

Actually, I think I might die tonight. Scum is going to think I am protection, and I am not.

Which brings this full circle. If no one is protection, then maybe it makes sense to have multiple dumb roles that persist.

If no one is protection, the only other possible reason for a no kill night 1 was scum being so inactive they didn't send one. I don't think Puns let's that happen.

Scum would have to flat out be told there's no primary protection in the game, which would both be unfair for letting them know AND unfair for leading them into shooting Chris at the same time.

Hb's claim reminds me of MZero's in Simpsons. Everything about it is convenient.

You know, I just had an odd thought. The people who claimed redirection to Uwnim.. Who were they, and who did they try to target?

With what happened n1 and there being only one death n2, Id assume they dont have one. So for the no kill, it would be scum shot Chris, Chris was protected. Scum shot the unkillable person. Scum no killed.

For the redirects to be responsible, thered have to be a third one. Like maybe the ??? in what corrik said happened to him n1 would make sense, but I doubt it. The one sultan claimed makes no sense as a town action and I doubt corriks does either.

I've had this conspiracy theory in my head for the last 30 minutes or so that's almost certainly wrong but... What if this was all planned? Scum was down two members. Scum redirects town Sultan to Uwnim. Puns assumes people would think he would shy away from motion detector instead of doubling down. Uwnim gets a nearly free pass for most of the rest of the game.

Say Uwnim is a mafia scanner. He would know if Tange had a night action and thus been able to make this claim without an issue. Even if Tange doesn't move, Chris' action would've enabled them to keep with the plan anyway.

Im leaning towards lynching sultan or Lea here

I dont like how inactive sultan has been as a power role or the fact his role is just a better version of the movement detectors. I dont like he claimed it day 1

Lea seems like a safe Lynch. She basically is asking to be lynched, thats probably like a 10% scum gambit but it isnt the worst

one other thing. That detective claim bothered me. I dont remember a detective ever working like that.

The only thing in it's favor is IGCD just hosted a game where I had a similar "Weak Flavor Cop" role which was basically this role Tange is claiming down to a T just I got flavors and not roles. Also, Tange wasn't in the game to know that.

If panthera is town, I feel good about sultan and lea since pathera wasn't the lynch in overtime just because they splintered off. If panthera is scum and has a role more valuable than what puns had, then they'd look worse.

That's a good argument, yeah. Plum was trying to make an argument that the claimed tracker is scum regardless of what panthera was.

I want to reiterate that Panth's role is RNG and hosts don't make these roles.

That said, is it possible that scum had a role that was like... The first actions or so submitted to the host would get redirected to a target of their choice. They figured a doctor would put their action in right away so they would be clear to shoot Chris?

If Panthera is town, and one of the motion detector claims (Plum) is scum, it's less impactful as an anti town role.

Crescent, when it was going on, it felt like puns was trying to keep attention on himself and wasn't attempting to not get lynched. When you were reading it, how did you see things?

I think it is easy to see we a have a numbered of paired roles.

Lea / Mzero - Death persisters
Panth / Death - Movement obstructors
Plum / Uwnim - Motion Detectors

I would love to say it is as easy as one of each of those pairs is scum. I wish.

I will also, say it is possible the host thought the role wouldn't really matter much and so was okay with being RNG. Really, a movement scan from a motion detector is always questionable just because of the scum actions that wouldn't be claimed.
