So I guess I think I'm thinking more like, umm... Has anyone here played Corridor 7? It has a difficulty setting called 'president' which randomizes the enemy and item placement. Left4Dead series has a director that feels out how youre progressing and changes item and weapon spawns, zombie/horde placements etc based on how well youre doing. In a very few situations in 2 it even changes the path you have to take (this is much less ambitious than they wanted to do it I think, since it was only 1 year between the 2 games). It even does this in versus. Its why the team that is losing gets to play infected first that round; the initial special infected spawns and all of the other spawns (including tanks and witches) in the level are the same for both teams. So they can learn whats ahead before they play survivors. --- I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite user on the Citadel.
