I turned 30 in November and it made me reflect on some of the bad choices I'd been making but if I hadn't been making those bad choices (financial and health) then it wouldn't feel any different at all. As an added bonus people start to hand you opportunities because of your perceived maturity, regardless of it is accurate or not. I don't think there's anything inherent to 30 other than it's symbolic though.
