Darkest Dungeon and Slay the Spire also can give some credit to their aesthetics for how much they stand out. That's not exactly the best list for the point you're trying to make. Also, as much as graphics whoring is silly, if you really dislike how a game looks, that does definitely get in the way of enjoying it. Genuinely bad (iyo) visuals are basically impossible to ignore, due to the visual nature of games. You can't play BoI (or any other game) without looking at its art, and that means disliking its art is a perfectly good reason to not be interested in it. --- This is my signature.
