I loved 11 (and 10, the only other other Mega Man that came out in the 2010s), but simply put, there were games I liked more than it that got my nomination instead!

I don't think that's really fair, MM11 is significantly less backward-looking than MM9 or MM10.

I'm disappointed that MM11 didn't make the contest, but I'm also disappointed with many, many other snubs. That's life I guess; lots of good games this decade.

Because it's a better game.

(Subjective of course, but MM10 was, IMO, basically trying to do the exact same thing MM9 already did, by being a faithful retread of the NES games, particularly 2. And that was kinda played out, never mind the fact that I don't think MM10 was as good as MM9 anyway. MM11 felt more fresh and fun; speed gear in particular was nifty.)
