I'm irreplaceable, not that I'm amazing or anything, just the field I work in is very niche and there's only about 3 people in my whole region capable of it, and the other 2 have lucrative jobs - the company I manage is performing better during the virus, I'm looking at my biggest end of month bonus other than Christmas. No chance to spend it mind, but it's nice to have anyway and I'm grateful I'm not in the other bracket. I know plenty that are worried sick though, they're still employed now, but when this all rolls over, it's debatable whether the industries they work in will have enough work for all of them to go back to. Plus there's going to be a LOT of newly unemployed people that might be better qualified and work for less money. Folk think this will be all over in months, which is poppycock, the aftershocks of it all will cripple the economy for years, and 10,000s of business will be going under. I'm worried about my football team right now, supported them all my life and they're a big part of my social circle, yet how on earth will they get by paying players high wages with absolutely no ticket money coming, or TV money for games they'd have been playing. It doesn't bear thinking about how many businesses are in that same position right now, many of them a lot more important than guys kicking a call around. Have you possibly tried an online pharmacy? At least then the idea is they (the vet staff) dont have to think about it, have the doctor sign off and the pharmacy should be able to send it to ya.
