I always read that they're using tax returns, though, and that it was $500 per child. As for me, I wonder if I'd just embarrass myself at H&R Block. Ehh, we'll see. People who earn more than $75,000 will receive a smaller payment and the checks are phased out completely for people who make over $99,000. As you can see it's ambigous as children are US residents with social security numbers. Did they just not realize this?
