another weekend before they go into negotiations round 2. currently 3 proposals are being floated. anywhere from 600-2000 per person based on your taxable income.

GOP plan: 1200 on income less than 75k. have to meet the quota to get full amount otherwise its 600 with no/little income
Donald plan: 1k to all americans
Democrats plan: 2k to each american.

Democrat plan is the higher one. donald is 2nd highest. GOP is least.

With previous stimulus packages, if you didn't make $3k during the required year, you got nothing.

They were floating $2.5k with this one. A lot of people who need it are gonna get fucked while Bob working from home and making his usual pay will get the max amount.

That's good information to have but at the same time, I doubt those were given out during a case like this one where there's a worldwide virus preventing people from leaving and working.

They already have, those passed no problem. The help people pay their rent while unemployed from government mandated quarantines is having a much harder time. Because the government helping the people is a new concept to most of those congressman and all they care about is reelection, and ensuring they get their campaign donations from those big companies is how they win.
