Called multiple places and they're sold out 9mm ammunition.

Silly thing is I meant to go on an ammo run before this virus nonsense even started.... That's what I get for procrastinating.

I'd feel a lot better about my precautions with a few magazines.

Exactly. Did you really think that when things got bad enough for you to need ammo, you could just conveniently buy it at the store? That's poor prepping.

Oh, fair enough then. I post frequently about owning guns, because I do farm, livestock and vegetables. I also do aquaponic gardening, with a small fish farm that fertilizes my tomato and pepper plants. I even have a small setup in my house with a 10 gallon aquarium filtering through clay media where I grow spinach, basil, garlic, and oregano, among other herbs. Just everything you described I have experience with and have posted about, I wasn't sure if it was related.

If you are ever interested in learning about any of the above, i'm happy to help out or at least offer information.

No they do not, you basically just drop ship a max of 500rounds per month to a gun store and pay their ridiculous transfer fees (which ironically keeps the stores open, so joke's on CA,) TC might actually be from Louisiana though.

It doesn't really matter. I just checked and every site I go to is now pretty much sold out of 9mm. They had some two days ago when I made my orders though.

I have about 3 dozen 7.62X54R, a 50 count box of 12 gauge birdshot and 24 rounds of slugs.

I don't really stockpile ammunition, I tend to keep on hand what I need in various scenarios. Hopefully i'll never have to encounter a bear or a mountain lion, but both do make their habitat here. Bobcats are generally the largest problem for me.

No I'm in California, which is the problem.

Way less gun stores to buy from and you can't get it online without major hassle.

Dope!

I'm into that I want an aquaponic set up and my own at least minimal level of livestock and fruits/vegetables, plus an herbal garden.

It's a dream i'm working toward my first step is moving out of Los Angeles later this year.
