Also, people might only have a few rolls at home and think that if it all gets bought up they wont be able to get anymore. As for the grabbing of giant amounts of it, that is a coping mechanism. The packages of toilet paper are large. People feel the urge to stock up and prepare, and several giant things of toilet paper is very big. Look how big my preparation is.
