it's a think tank founded to get jobs in a Warren admin which looked more likely a couple years ago. some of the stuff they do re: economic insecurity is interesting and worth looking into. Electoral polling not so much.

also the methodology they use for assigning support in states where Pete and Amy dropped out is all kinds of messed up

A lot of the ones that feel this way are too shortsighted to understand that. It's a very good point though, and honestly something I hadn't really weighed when considering Trump Vs. Sanders if Biden doesn't win.

Between that and the environment, I think I might actually vote Bernie in the general if he ends up as the nominee. It at least gives me a lot more to think about. Thanks!

This has always been Bernie's issue, reaching the rest of the Dems.

This is why Republicans have said they think Bernie is an easier target than Biden. I disagree, I don't think they realize the shift they're asking for out of their party too, but remember that progressives are only like 20% of the Dems. A significant chunk will not take him, so they view those voters as good as Trump's.

This is the bigger problem right now. It's going to be hard to unify the party against Trump after all of this is over.

Biden sounds like a bumbling idiot more often than not, and Bernie supporters will feel ripped off (especially if he goes into the convention with a delegate lead, and I honestly can't blame them in that scenario), so if Biden wins that's a problem.

Bernie has all of these grand plans that aren't very popular with pretty large sections of the population, and his supporters can be extremely aggressive and turn people away, plus there's already the socialism angle that's going to be played to death. If Bernie wins, that's a problem.

I still have a little hope because Bernie and Biden seem to be pretty friendly with each other, so maybe the person that loses can convince their supporters to rally, but that doesn't seem likely right now.
