Nearly $31k. I'm 31. I put at least $2k a year in so that I can get a tax credit, usually $200. Once my house is paid off 7 years from now I'm going to ramp up my contributions considerably.

$5k currently in there and I was coincidently rolling over an old 401k to consolidate. Long story short, UPS lost the check for a bit and it delayed it being put into the account. Their error actually saved me a bunch of money.

So $45k whenever that finishes going through.

$30K in a Roth IRA, and I'm 33. Started a bit late, though, at 31. I have equity in my house and bread routes, too, so I'll be retiring at 50, if I wanted... but I won't.

How does one do that? My understanding is I can't unless it's an emergency or I get fired? I'm currently working 2 jobs to pay my student loans faster and idk if I can commit to 60+ hours a week for a year.

How do you take out of your 401K? I just simply logged into my account and clicked a few buttons.Check was sent immediately and I had it deposited within 7 days.

But there was no need to verify an "emergency" on your end somehow?
