In the US, healthcare is a privilege sadly.

People will end up going to work with the virus because they both can't afford treatment and can't afford to take a day off.

I honestly think Americans want it to spread here because they can use it for political gain and justify some views they already had.

I'm wielding a double edged sword. On the one hand, I've got terminal cancer and an infection from Covid-19 could be potentially lethal, moreso than most other people with healthy immune systems.

On the other hand, I've got medicaid.

Shouldn't have existed near someone who caught it from someone who maybe visited China, then. Americans really need to learn to take more responsibility for their poor decisions. Maybe if you had a better job, you would be able to afford getting sick. Bootstraps!

What treatment?

According tot he CDC - There is no specific antiviral treatment recommended for COVID-19.

Symptoms are fever cough and shortness of breath. You'll have to get store brand cough medicine if you are poor instead of name brand like the rest of "rich" America.

If you are talking about hospitalizations, hospitals aren't going to turn you away if you cant afford the visit. Expect a bill you can't pay for, then collection calls, and then a hit to your credit which is probably already bad if you are poor.
