I don't know if it's a lost cause (polling has it real close between him and Biden) so much as he doesn't need a good performance there as much as the other candidates do. So the converse of that SC spending is Super Tuesday, which votes just three days later (and early voting is already happening):

I don't have TV to watch atm and I don't watch ads online so I've been spared the onslaught but I've heard it's really bad.

At least Steyer's ads seemed somewhat positive and action based.

I bought some Bloomberg contracts on predictit after he tanked in the last debate. I got him at 15 cents a contract (he fell to 14 but I bought after he'd been starting to rally again). He's trading at 18-19 cents now. I also bought some contracts for him to win NC and AR at 14 cents a contract. It's a big risk on my part, but I'm (literally) gambling that the Nevada performance will cause more attacks on Sanders, which will make Bloomberg look good relative to his last performance. Of course, Elizabeth Warren could pummel him into submission for a couple hours and that would suck for my potential winnings but it'd be worth it
