Chrome functions better but Im trying to get away from it, aside from eating up a lot of your ram (which is actually a non issue for my computer), it offers no privacy whatsoever. Nothing from google does

Firefox, mainly because it's one of the few browsers on Android that has the ability to install an adblocker. Chrome does not, so screw Goggle.

i use firefox now since it's gotten a lot better in the past few years. chrome was better for a long time but i do not like where it's been going (and i'm not into google as a company much either)

Forget when I switched from IE6 to FF but those are all I used. Adblockers were an incentive.

I used to use FF and may be going back if what people say about its improvements are remotely true. I've been using Chrome for the last few years, and am getting progressively annoyed with it. It's funny; I had left Firefox behind due to memory leak issues., but I am seeing people list that as a complaint about Chrome nowadays (I haven't experienced it myself).

I see FF will also be stopping Flash support like Chrome is doing, so I guess that may mark the end of Flash-based games that don't appear to be making any sort of switch any time soon. Hmm...

Chrome now, but thinking of switching back to FF, I see the memory leak issue happening a lot in Windows 10. Oddly enough, the new Edge browser isn't bad either, but reading up on it, it is just Chromium on the back-end so not surprised. Haven't used it enough to find out if it has memory leak issues as well.

I used Firefox up until maybe a decade ago but when I started to use more Google apps and products I switched over to Chrome.

I used to use Firefox but that stopped using a plugin so I switched to Chrome as my main browser. I still use Firefox for private browsing.

Chrome has more support in terms of extensions, but as a browser, Firefox is better. I hate both browsers on mobile though, so I just use Safari for mobile.

In 2010 I switched from Firefox to Chrome but now I switched back to Firefox last year. It's jsut generally better and less botnet-y.

uBlock origin. It's the best there is currently as far as I'm aware.

At home I use Opera. At work I use Chrome.

Depends on which browser is being less awful to use; I tend to swap between them every so often.

But lately, Chrome is currently the on my bad side with its recent breaking of adblocker addons and it's bad history of tracking everything you do, so I'm with Firefox until further notice.

Chrome has all my passwords tied to my google account, which is tied to my phone number. Going from phone to computer and essentially having the same browser data is too convenient for me to go with firefox.

I have many randomly generated passwords that only exist in my google account.

chromium based browser, but it doesnt log activity, blocks adds better than ublock, and protects your information. i highly recommend it.

for example, i dont use the youtube app anymore, because just using brave lets me get no ads. same with gamefaqs and pretty much everything else. its pretty great.

edit: there is a desktop version as well, but i dont use it because not having a menu bar on my desktop is an automatic no for me.
