No. I'm 35 and my girlfriend is turning 28 in a couple months; that's the same difference in age.

As long as both are consenting adults that connect with each other, I see no issues.

I have a hard time believing anybody would give a shit about these kinds of things. Adults are adults. I have never seen anyone care about this sort of thing in real life except for very immature people or people who are jealous

Apparently she cannot drink alcohol(that's what they said) which is weird as you can enter bar and buy alcohol at 18 where I live. Do you need to be older elsewhere?

No and seven years isn't even a big age gap. My gf and I are seven years apart and it isn't considered weird. I could understand 12 to 15 years or more, but c'mon TC this is ridiculous. As long as both individuals are fairly mature, consenting adults it's fine.

Honestly even if it was 12 to 15 years it would still be none of my business(as long as their adults). Unconventional perhaps, but not unethical. Litterally nobody (or almost) think 19 and 26 is unethical where I live so it got me a little confused.

I don't follow the logic that just because you're 26 means you have to date other 26 year olds

It's two or 3 years out of high school where I live(you are usually out of high school at either 16 or 17 depending on your birth month)

Like I said before. I will at least give them credit for not being hypocritical as they don't like it about older women either. I feel like trying to dictate who dates who is what's more unethical. Forcing people out of a legal and consensual relationship because of subjective ethics is like a least bad version of forced marriage imo.

Eh its a bigger age gap than average but not a huge deal.

If I remember correctly (it was a long time ago >_>) my wife was 18 and I was 23 when we met, not extremely different than that.

that's really not a huge age difference. When some older guys have like a shit ton of money, you sometimes see age difference of like 40 or 50 years. Geez, then what do you think of that? would you head explode or something?

If they had classes with a 19 year old and started dating then it would make sense since they spend a lot of time around each other. It still seems like the younger person in the relationship would seem more immature to the older person though

When I was 19, I was in college and dated people 10 years older than me. I was not traumatized nor did I fell like it was abuse. Just because you are not exactly at the same moment of your life it does mot make it unethical. Of course things like 13-26 should be illegal, but there is an obvious reason why it's different and I don't think I have to explain it.

I kinda asked that question to elaborate that it's possible for people of those ages to still be in similar places in life, especially coming from someone who's a 'late' college student himself. It's not always predatory. Sometimes things happen and when you're on a college campus you can't afford to be picky
