I kinda asked that question to elaborate that it's possible for people of those ages to still be in similar places in life, especially coming from someone who's a 'late' college student himself. It's not always predatory. Sometimes things happen and when you're on a college campus you can't afford to be picky

My boyfriend still attend university while I am in the workplace. I don't get why some people would think it's unethical

It's kinda hard to be a center left guy when you see people acting like the sjw stereotype. I almost hate saying my political leaning because I don't want to be associated with people who thrive on being outraged by everything.

Well. I have seen that their couple picture was liked by about 100 000 peoples while the negative comments were mostly twitter rants. I suppose that outrage warriors are just more vocal.

Well. I blocked those people. They litterally started claiming it was grooming pedophilia is one of crimes that disgusts me the most and it's pretty insulting.

But I am silently judging people at a higher age for being unable to be with people their age due to a lack of maturity.

That's what it always boils down to when older people date much younger people. They're usually just too immature for people in their own age group

I'm 26 and the idea of dating somebody <21 makes my stomach hurt. 23 is my limit as I find the mature look more attractive. If somebody else wants to do it, it's none of my business though.

Perfectly reasonable position. But I was kinda thinking about a minimum of 24 before dating my boyfriend and it was happened to work despite the fact he was 20 when we met. If you met a 20 years old would you get along with and find attractive, I really don't think you'd say no.

Not really. Both our families liked the other other approved of the relationship (even get along with each other). Might have been some silent judgement from friends or aquaintences but nothing said aloud. Only disapproval I've seen is from people on this message board.

My girlfriend during high school/early college ended up cheating on me and proceeded to briefly date her 41 year old coworker when she was 19. So Im a little biased towards age discrepancies between couples, but 26 and 19 isnt bad.

I've seen friends make a few jokes about our age different, but aside from what I have seen online nobody opposed it. I still felt like shit reading that crap

I can understand the discomfort about your situation. But if she cheated you with someone the same age as her, I don't think it would have been better. Although I think 19 and 41 is starting to be weird. But who am I to tell them how to use their bodies?

He was likely her rich sugar daddy, at 41 if he is not married he is certainly looking for young women.
