Since Switch came out this also worked to play some japanese games in english early if they already had a localization done (the most prominent example was people were able to play the switch version of Disgaea 5 in English several months before its official release)

the way this demo has gone so far I see no reason why they couldn't have put base P5 on Switch also.

I doubt performance issues are the reason why they're not able to port a PS3 game to Switch.

so let's see if I can figure out these controls now that I'm in actual combat

B - Jump
Y - Sword
X - Gun
A - Attach to lamp posts or higher up areas to drop down on enemies. Also used to finish a stunned enemy
Hold R - Brings up the spell menu
ZR - Backflip dodge if standing still, dash dodge if moving
L - Center camera Hold
ZL - it...targets something. For me it highlighted a nearby bus, but I don't know what to do with it.

haven't been able to just summon a persona yet maybe that's not unlocked this early

ohh now that I am seemingly in a proper dungeon and not just in combat the framerate has suddenly taken a big hit

on a miniboss now and definitely need to rely on your persona and exploiting weaknesses more

it was like 30 minutes of gameplay and 45-60 minutes of cutscenes and dialogue

I was not warned that the demo cutscenes were unskipable.

there is the fastskip though where they speed through their dialogue

You know, P5 may have it's problems, but man does it ever leave an impression.

Getting goosebumps from text boxes I can't read for characters I don't know who are sitting around doing nothing, just because of the aesthetic and music.

I probably will check out P5R eventually once it hits around $20 like it should have been to begin with.

If they are in there it would assuredly just be DLC characters. No way they're in the story.

No idea, but the dataminer said those are just the file names for Mass Destruction and Wiping All Out.

looks like Kasumi won't be in this game most likely and that's kind of disappointing!
