clyde_frog 01/29/20 12:14:17 PM #1:	I dont know how I was able to find any enjoyment out of this as a kid. There are no rules applied to any of the duels, logic is thrown out the window, and simple concepts are needlessly over explained. Its painful to watch because as a child I loved this series and it still has that nostalgic factor, but at the same time the show repeatedly insults your intelligence and makes it difficult to invest yourself in the story. For example, Im watching the Yugi vs. Joey duel from season 1 and in one entire turn, Joey manages to summon Red Eyes Black Dragon without paying tribute (I know this was never a thing in the show, but still), followed by playing a trap card from his hand (Graverobber) in order to resurrect Summoned Skull Instead of activating it, and to top it off, he summons another monster from his hand (Copycat) in the same fucking turn.
