I still play it. Had to install it of the original disks, and go hunting online for the patches, but it's still playable.

if you have the CD keys you can register it on BNet and just download it

not with the launcher but through your account page

Off some of the early customer reviews;

1; Only some of the cinematics have been upscaled, others still use the originals.
2- The U.I hasn't been overhauled.
3- And some people are having trouble maintaining a consistent framerate.
4- Online matchmaking also seems to be problematic, suffering a wide variety of glitches and bugs.

Those are relatively minor quibbles considering the shitshow that usually accompanies a Blizzard release.

Though I was leery when they were accepting preorders with no release date, and then suddenly there was a release date and it was like 2 weeks away.

Finished the prologue campaign and the first two human missions without any errors or bugs. Eh, the people whining about the extra retcon stuff is odd, since they did say they were removing that because of complaints and offered a refund for anyone who already preordered and I still believe a full refund is allowed.

No ladder is pretty stupid. Haven't tried mutliplayer stuff yet, going to try some TDs later this week.

? Which mission is that? From what I remember, I did the movement tutorial, the base buliding free Grom tutorial, meet Senjin murloc map, murloc dungeon map, and survive for 20 minutes map.

I'll probably still pick it up, I didn't play competitively at all and it seems like it's still decent for casual players.

They're both pretty irrelevant. Once it became the 'cool' thing to review bomb games for juvenile reasons, Metacritic user reviews became even less significant than critic reviews, which were already insignificant.

Took this from the official Blizzard forums. Haven't bought the game myself, but this is the current top post there right now:

Features that were available yesterday and have been cut 12 hours ago:
Cross-region play (the custom game list is no longer global and you cant play with players from other realms, meaning its much harder to find players and fill game lobbies)
Custom campaigns
Clans
Player profiles
Ladder (ranked matchmaking, stats, automated tournaments)
Good, battle.net 2 1.0 chat system (you can no longer use commands such as /f l, /join; information on how many players are currently playing; list of communal channels; battle.net 2 news section; overall the chat system lost its soul)
Beautiful UI/menus (in reforged client the menus feel sluggish and less optimised; the chat box overlaps the menus, atmospheric 3D campaign backgrounds are gone, etc.)
Creative freedom in custom games (the WE EULA has been changed, adding a lot of limitations - everything you create now fully belongs to Blizzard, read more in other topics; censorship in maps and game names, for example a lobby called booty bay can not be hosted, even though its the name of an offical WC3 map, etc.)
Classic graphics in Reforged client look worse (shadows are missing, saturation is off, some spells/effects are missing)
RoC campaign is now using TFT balancing

Its pretty bad. The original experience is better at the moment, but supposedly they made it so the OG game launches into Reforged with Classic graphics.

Oh well. I can join a 4v4 with a friend now. Thats the only good part I've seen so far
