Tetris 99 defeated Fire Emblem 9-7
Super Mario Maker 2 defeated Bug Fables 7-6 Outer Wilds defeated Link's Awakening 8-7 Disco Elysium defeated Judgment 10-3 The upsets keep coming as Tetris knocks off a huge GotY contender! Fire Emblem blew a huge lead and was trailing by three going into the final 30 minutes of the match. However, the final vote would be huge for Outer Wilds as it avoided overtime against Link's Awakening. Mario Maker 2 barely avoids an upset from Bug Fables, and Disco Elysium dominates once more. Now begins round 3, where only one match a day is conducted. Just noticed some irony when looking up previous contests to get Final Fantasy's all-time record (55-33, with a grand total of 33 Final Fantasy games entering these tournaments from 1997 to 2019).
