Wish Kh3 didnt get snubbed from all the latest GotY polls so we would have some sorta idea how it would look

3 houses > KHIII

KHIII I can't see being any stronger than, say, an NSMBWii, and XIII realistically a Mario Sunshine. Xenoblade and Three Houses have actual rallying bases of support, and I think that 3H is presently stronger. Post-Xenoblade remaster that might change, though.

Confident in saying neither Square game has a shot, though.

I voted without realizing that Three Houses = Fire Emblem Three Houses.

That makes me less sure, but I still think KHIII is fairly strong and probably takes this pack; saw a lot of buzz about that game on my twitter feed, which is unusual.

Feel good about Xenoblade winning its match there. 3H/KH3 is the real question mark. I voted for 3H but honestly not sure and would feel very nervous, especially since we wouldn't be that far removed from the ReMIND DLC... ReMINDing voters, if not Allen, of its existence. Whatever the case, the winner of 3H/KH3 wins the pack IMO.

Xenoblade beating FF13 would sadden me a lot but I fully expect it to happen, I have no faith in post-10 FF to do much of anything, Noctis lost to a glove etc. FF13 has the additional problem of some people strongly disliking it so would vote for a game they haven't played over it.

I have a hard time seeing KH3 do what FE3H is currently doing in Game of the Year polls but maybe I'm underestimating it? It has been a strong GameFAQs series historically.

Probably take the winner over Xenoblade.

Three Houses is probably stronger than Xenoblade given how popular the new FE game is, and back in 2015 Xenoblade was only slightly strong than FE: Awakening. KH3 > FFXIII also seems intuitive to me. As for Three Houses vs. KH3.... that's a tough call. But I know nothing about anything, so whatever!

Three Houses > Xenoblade in three easy matches IMO; the actually beloved Nintendo RPGs will pull surprising margins on the not-so-beloved Square-Enix RPGs, and then Xenoblade's contest history is way below what it needs to be to hang with a game that's capable of 45% on RE2make.

I already adjusted for Sekiro's minor LFF effect against RE2 with that 55-45 margin, though. Also, 38% on SOTN today would be better, but I don't think 2015 SOTN, of barely 60% on Banjo-Kazooie and 32% on a heavily antivoted OoT (or about what Alucard would score on Link today), was on the same level as it is today.

(Actually I haven't paid attention to the trends in these GOTY polls but so far Three Houses is performing better relative to RE2 1v1 than it did in the 3-way poll with Sekiro.)
