Which one?

They're both for the Xbone, got them both for free on Gamepass.

I haven't played either one of any of the games in either series' games.
I heard some dude tell me that it was hard for him to play any other RPGs, including Skyrim after he played Witcher 3. I have heard good things about the Pillars of Eternity game as well.

Pillars of Eternity is a mediocre RPG if you loved Baldur's Gate, but kind of a shitty one if you didn't.

Witcher 3 is really good, but there's so much content you may start feeling burned out before you manage to get to the end.

This, I want to like Pillars but Divinity spoiled me, every-time I look at a text box I expect a narrator to narrate actions and events.

Also the Xbox version fucking suuuucks, bad controls and bad UI, but the version available for PC gamepass doesn't have the DLC.

I like that you can have 6 man partys though, I like large party numbers and not enough games do that.

I started playing Witcher 3, and the Witcher Vision or w/e it's called should've been a toggle. Like why the fuck do I need to hold down the button for? That's fucking stupid as shit.

Also, are Witchers supposed to hunt witches? The opening cinematic shows them following a witch, but apparently Geralt was fucking her or some shit?

Witches hunt monsters and yes they include witches too. In regrades to the opening cinematic that's a sorcerer and yes Geralt does like fucking those. Although it's possible to not fuck anyone. Play the game.

What's the difference between witches and sorcerers?

Witchcraft, sorcery and wizardry are all different forms of magic in short.

2 questions about the game

How do I look at my Gwent cards? I think something came up telling me to check my cards in the inventory, but I can't seem to find my cards.

Is this like an Elder Scrolls kind of game? What I mean by that is, I always get caught up trying to explore everything, get lost in what I was doing, and end up stop playing. Weirdly enough, I never had that problem in Fallout games. I want to know if I should mostly stick to main quests with a small emphasis on sidequesting, or if I should try to explore everything.

If you hit the start button one of the menu options is your Gwent deck

Oh, it's in the other menu, thanks.

Another question just came up. I ran into a monster too high for my level, and the game told me I should run. Well, Geralt kept facing the enemy and made it really hard for me to try and get on the horse. I tried clicking in the right stick, which is supposed to toggle lock on, but he just kept looking at the monster who proceeded to kill his ass. WTF am I supposed to do?

It's not like anything Beth do. Sidequests actually mean something and so do some of the choices you make. I'd argue the Bloody Baron sidequests in better than the main quest. Although I did enjoy that too. I really don't understand why you're asking here and not just finding out yourself.
