Less work would be nice, but all the work they do have is the kind I don't like dealing with. There schedule is also all over the place which would be hard on me physically. I have sleep issues and would probably sleep through shift before too long. That said the opening managers have slept through opening the store about 4-5 times that I know of in the last 6 months. So that might not be a deal breaker.

I could probably deal with being a manager, but the bigger issue is I don't want to be a supervisor first. The supervisor position does all the same work as I do, plus additional paperwork, plus they cover any shifts where someone called out, all for 25 cents more an hour. It doesn't help that management sucks at hiring people so I would have to supervise a guy who hits on every female in the building and when he succeeds uses their nudes to convince other female associates to send him more nudes, a couple people who literally don't know how to do the job even after 4 months of training.

I kind of am one. It's ok I guess. A lot easier than my last job as a manager. Last one wasn't even that hard except for fixing other people's mistakes and making sure I didn't screw up in emergencies

Not any more than I am now.

I'm a project manager, which is fine, but I would not want to be a team leader or actual people manager.

Thankfully, my line of work allows for other opportunities for career growth. I'm more interested in becoming an SME than anything to do with management.

Good god no.

I work at a grocery store. They have to work like twelve hour days, deal with idiotic customers AND employees, have owners and supervisors breathing down their necks. No thanks.

I could probably be a good manager too, I just dont like telling people what to do, honestly.

I don't work and a managers wage seems appealing however assuming Id be a good manager it would be a lot of hard work and pressure. I probably wouldn't want to be responsible for other peoples work ethic or lack of.

I was asked to step up as lead for my project and oh boy it's a lot more work and responsibility

I do the same daily work as my colleagues... and manage the project and delegate tasks as necessary. So it's not sitting back, it's regular work plus reports plus meetings plus responsibility for fuck ups

At me company? No others maybe.

The higher brass at my company are old school and wanna have face to face meetings. So my boss is constantly having to go to Dallas, New York, or Seattle for things that 100 percent could have been a conference call.

I was Service & Operations manager for three years, it stressed me tf out and I wasn't happy at all. Store manager is even worse, totally not worth the headaches despite the great pay. Luckily they had an opening for the OTR service truck and I couldn't be happier.

I just wish I realized that I traded my passion for fame sooner.
