They'll sell the game all normal and good, get good ratings. Then they add the MTX and dlc shit later.

I finally had enough of it last week. I was enjoying it when it launched but as time went on it just got less and less enjoyable.

There's a difference in fundamentally bad games to games that are bad based on awful decisions.

CoD will never be a fundamentally bad game. They've pretty much perfected FPS controls on consoles, and have to big of a budget to release buggy or broken.

It's a yearly release title though. So if they've decided to change things that the community doesn't agree with then it could lead to a "bad game" in comparison to previous titles.

Nobody is comparing Modern Warfare to Drake of the 99 Dragons

I made the fatal mistake of getting it a few days ago. I hadn't touched cod since... Black ops 1 with a slight scratch of mw3. I never so much as rented the ones between. I figured I could do with a simple easy to grasp shooter I haven't done in a while. Saw some stuff of it, seemed fine. Oh.. you need a seperate account for it... ok, guess that could have been a little more clearly stated in the description, but no they gotta blab on about how if I get it digitially I'll get this special m4 and revolver where I can own the competition.

I've only played it for 2 sessions and I guess that combined with the fact I haven't touched it in years it hasn't fully set in. That said, when it works it's not so bad... it's the whole infrastructure/package/installsize that just drags it down into a slag heap. I'll at least get my fill of it for a bit, but I'm already sick of the sense of urgency the timers and such present after just 6ish hours.

Meh it's good for people that like hardcore mode. Core sucks ass though I agree but I prefer hc search, headquarters, 24/7 hardcore shoothouse, sometimes hc dom .

Infected is fun once in a while too.

I was absolutely crazy about CoD4 back when i was something like 14. I stuck around playing WaW and some MW2 then shifted to Bad company 2, BF4 then BF1. Couldnt get into BFV and CoD WW2.

Right now atm, im kinda burnt out playing these military shooters. They are all just kind of the same. I'll still play fps shooters if they have a story tho. So im looking forward to cyberpunk 2077.

I honestly havent had any major beef with cod since ghosts. I never bought advanced warfare or infinite warfare though lol. However, this game is just a blatant insult to its veteran fan base. I will be extremely cautious on the next cod game for sure.
