Glad your mom is ok, and in the end that is what matter, fuck material stuff, she survived with no big harm and that's what counts. But yeah, material damage can still fuck up things I hope it won't make things too bad.

I wouldnt hold out much hope for the vehicle unless its a really small deer or it ran into her while she was parked.

depending on your insurance might be able to get something back for your car though i'm not sure how they'll act when it's animal related and not by human error.

Apparently after she hit the deer the car behind her didn't slow down and proceeded to swerve into the deer as well. She didn't tell me if the deer lived but I wouldn't get my hopes up.
