And James McAvoy revealed that his 5 7 height has caused him a few problems both on and off set over the years: As a shorter man, I sometimes get told Im too short for a role. Or even when I get a role, Im made to feel like, well, of course, were going to have to do something about that because nobody would believe [the character] would be with someone like her. That was a kick in the nuts. While he didnt reveal what co-star he was referring to, James McAvoy said that an actress once implied that she thought he was too short to be cast opposite her. He said he was opposite the actress. That wasn't really the case with the First Class timeline movies. He's been opposite Kiera Knightly, Rosario Dawson and Angelina Jolie, all the same height as him. I could see it being one of them. That wasn't really the case with the First Class timeline movies. He's been opposite Kiera Knightly, Rosario Dawson and Angelina Jolie, all the same height as him. I could see it being one of them.
