I mean sia can give her money to whoever she chooses I suppose. I don't think kellee is in great need of the cash, though giving a donation to a foundation for survivors of domestic violence (or something comparable) would've been a thoughtful choice for this season imho

I'm only watching this reunion for the S40 preview. I will give production a pass for S40 since I'll be excited to see some of my favorite players ever (no matter how many advantages and idols I see), but if I don't see any attempt to move on from the Advantage Era in S41 I will definitely check myself out from watching the show. I would see to see a back to basic type season which just one idol and not another absurd format change or a litany of advantages again.

Just to clarify, neither Chris U nor Tommy were eligible for Winners at War as they were not yet declared winners when casting happened.

Todd was cast but dropped out at the last second for unknown reasons. His replacement was Adam.

Earl did not participate as his wife gave birth to a very premature baby shortly before filming.

Chris D went through casting but did not pass the physical exam.

On the Kellee thing I thought that was very well handled and this is what I expected from them. I know many wanted them to do this sooner but I feel like it gave Survivor and Kellee the proper platforms. Survivor the platform to admit their mistake and Kellee the opportunities to help others like her. Probably should have topped it off with some cash but Cia must have broken the bank you know, after she gave Jamal 85k less dollars.

Yep, it's that bad. While there may be other seasons that were more excruciatingly predictable, aggressively negative and mean spirited, plagued by a time-sucking twist, or indicative of everything wrong with the way Probst thinks Survivor should be played, this one had just enough of each of those to create the perfect storm of awfulness.
