Tyler Caldwell, 20, was arrested Tuesday and charged with conspiracy and criminal facilitation in the killing of Talasia Cuffie, 17, who was living with her slain friend Aamir Griffins family at the time of her death. Talasia was found bleeding outside a home on 166th St. near Foch Blvd. in South Jamaica around 10 p.m. on Nov. 15 three weeks after Aamir, 14, was killed by a stray bullet in a beef between two local gangs. Caldwell is accused of luring Talasia out of Aamir Griffins home to meet her former boyfriend and his new girlfriend, who thought she teen was pregnant and wanted her to get an abortion, sources said. Investigators believe the new girlfriend stabbed Talasia to death. An autopsy later revealed that Talasia was not pregnant, police sources said. According to court papers, Caldwell talked to Talasia on FaceTime and encouraged her to meet him outside under an elevated train line. He admitted to police that he was drawing her outside so her ex-boyfriend and new girlfriend could kill her, court papers say. I dont know if I should stab her or have my boyfriend shoot her, the new girlfriend told Caldwell, according to court documents.
