I have an old shitty one from my dad that I use for my mustache, cuts like molasses, once my beard starts getting noticeable I use a razor, so both?

Naw man, this thing is looks pretty old, probably 90's or so, but it works! So since you said usually, I guess I use that electric razor more for my mustache then I do a razor for shaving my beard.

Says Braun, which shut down in 2007 lulz, so at least a decade old.

Double edge razor is the best and cheapest. A sharp blade, easy to remove hair that get stuck at the blade and blades are 10c per blade.

I will occasionally trim with a scissors and comb, but rarely shave. If I do shave I use an electric razor on my face and disposable head razor on any other body part.

Electric only. I get really bad razor bumps every time I use normal blades.

I actually recently bought a new Gillette razor designed specifically to avoid those bumps. No difference whatsoever. Fuck you, Gillette.

Still have to try that. You will need a very good shaving technique for it and be good sharping a blade. A shavette could be very good since they are a straight razor that use disposable blades by cutting up double edge blades. Starting with a double edge razor is a better starting point for most people since it is more forgiving. People are used to the dull disposable multiple blades from Gillette and you need to use a lot of pressure with those since the are so dull and all the hairs get stuck in between the blades.

I use both equally. I rock the stubble so each week I trim it all with the electric then clean up my cheeks and neck with the razor

Disposable one or one with cartridges. I usually try to use the replaceable cartridge ones. But when I run out, I use one of the many, many disposable ones I have. Haha.

For my face, I use a Colonel Ichabod Conk double-track razor. It takes the old Trac-II type cartridges. I bought 100 generic blades for about $14 from Amazon. I'm really cheap when it comes to replacing blades and I think I've gone through about 20 in 3 years, so I've got about 12 years before I need to buy new blades.

For the coin purse & thermal exhaust port trench, I use a Mach 3. I don't remember when I changed the blade last, but I think I've been using the same blade for years. It just doesn't seem to get dull. Maybe those hairs are softer, and it's a fairly small area I use it on.

For broader body areas, I use a Philips Norelco BodyGroom 7100. It's waterproof, rechargeable, and has a trimmer on one side and a razor on the other. I've found an electric is generally less likely to cause razor burn than a blade. I only have to charge it like once a month or so.

Electric razors exclusively. Mostly trimmers to maintain my goatee and an electric razor to full-shave the parts I want fully bare.

I think I've used a blade razor like three times in my entire life. I've never really seen a single reason why it was superior in any way to what I was already doing.

I think the real question is, why don't you shave yours? :-)

I shave because I'm a nudist and like to be completely naked. If I could afford laser hair removal I'd zap myself in a heartbeat.
