My plan covers screening and diagnostic tests. Diagnostic is if there are symptoms that suggest some sort of condition, and that has a copay. But screening is for people who don't show symptoms, but might be at increased risk due to certain conditions like age or gender. Screening is usually free :3

Screening can also be tailored to high risk populations depending on the disease being screened, but it is never confirmatory. Diagnostic tests are used to confirm a diagnosis. An efficient healthcare workup for common diseases usually goes cheap screening on a huge population > more costly diagnostic test on a positive screen or high index of suspicion individual --- ...
