At least you know what kills ya... Which is, btw? Just curious.

I didn't test positive for a single thing lol, they're claiming it's non-allergenic rhinitis

Here's your proof!

Oh wait...

In all seriousness that's a ridiculously high bill for someone with insurance

Who even asks for proof on this lol. Shit is common knowledge that many plans don't cover allergy tests

My plan covers screening and diagnostic tests. Diagnostic is if there are symptoms that suggest some sort of condition, and that has a copay. But screening is for people who don't show symptoms, but might be at increased risk due to certain conditions like age or gender. Screening is usually free :3

State work has a lot of really good benefits, like being able to take out money from my paycheck before it's taxed and put it into my insurance payment. I forget what that was called.

Thats mostly correct. Just to clarify, screening tests are directed at the general population to identify people at risk. Screening can also be tailored to high risk populations depending on the disease being screened, but it is never confirmatory.

Diagnostic tests are used to confirm a diagnosis. An efficient healthcare workup for common diseases usually goes cheap screening on a huge population > more costly diagnostic test on a positive screen or high index of suspicion individual
