I would assume AR-15 is the more important one to focus on MOD3 first over M4. But I just wanted to double check with you guys.

As long as you get them to Mod2, you're pretty much good. Mod3 is mostly gravy.

On another note, getting that secret achievement on chapter 1's hidden stage was a pain in my RNG.

Well both are generally listed as recommended, but M4A1's not only got a wider range of uses (STAR suffers facing Hydra-tier armour), her Special Equipment notably also brings armour which opens up more team comps i.e. being able to frontline 10-4E

Just got STAR to MOD3, too. The event box swag is helping a lot, plus it's a capsule day (i.e. use points on getting memory frags instead).

Given how long the event is, I'm sure there'll be plenty of free memory frags thrown around. I don't even mind that I used up my entire supply (around 5000) for this. The first batch of moddables are all sitting at MOD0-1, haha.

I finished 10e missions because I wanted the background to the event. Still grinded the daily 60 boxes from the first event map.

No clue how you can gold 10-4e.

Yeah back with the P90/Px4 banner it was observed that the first pull is super weighted for a banner doll. (I got Px4)

My first production on the rate-up was AN-94. After 136 contracts, I got them both.

I'm more than halfway through my contracts and I have three AN-94s. I would still like an extra AK-12 or two.

It's a relatively new thing on the EN server that started back in September for the Px4 Storm batch. The older servers got it on a batch earlier this year...I think the one that came out around the Isomer event.

It's not a guaranteed chance, just a really big boost. I think it's been estimated to be around ~70-80%. It also only works once per rate-up and only for banner rate-ups like this one, not general rate-ups. If you didn't get a banner Doll on your first pull, that's really unfortunate but that's it for the game throwing you a bone.

Oh, and I forgot to mention the last rule: it only pulls a banner Doll that you don't have registered in your Index (i.e. you're getting the Doll for the very first time) and only from the pools selected by the recipe you used, so be careful with that.

In a case like this, where there are two eligible Dolls in the same class that you don't have, it picks one at random if the boosted chance is successful.

Saw this the other day, too. Haven't gotten up to that point yet (just finished Ch. 1 yesterday), but it looks like a good one. I've been using the farming the first map Thunder drops on up til now for daily crates.

I ended up only getting P90 like a week after the general rate-up lol

Was just farming Hoxy for my daily crate drops when I wasn't proceeding with the story, got my first one today (though I could probably use another lol)
Most of my remaining targets seem to be on retreat-farm maps though, so that quick-crate map would come in handy then

Let me put it to you this way: AN-94 is currently the #1 day battle AR in the entire game, dethroning G11 on EN, and AK-12 is slightly below that in performance. They're both top ARs.

That having been said...ARs start to drop off in value going forward in favor of RFs. Both are most certainly still worth leveling and using though.

I heard ARs get worse because so many armored units appear. Maybe a few with high firepower-boosting skills can hold their own.

I got AK-12 on the second or third try during rate up, and failed getting AN-94 the next forty times.

With the warning about ARs dropping off due to armor, I assume the Hydras are coming.

Well, they were already here even before Singularity dropped... That said the next few events will introduce a few more flavours to the armoured super-mobs. Even Singularity itself had the Typhon squads as a nastier side-dish to the Hydras.
