Construction workers people who enjoy fighting. Id even say kitchen workers cause if you work in a kitchen chances are you will burn or cut yourself at some point.

Having an ability that basically pushes you in to peak human shape, renders you borderline immortal(very long lived at least), and basically immune to disease and death via injury is useless?

And mercenary is the best you could come up with? You could be an actor that does his own stunts in the most brutal fashion ever. Or hell, watch Preacher--there was a guy who couldn't die and literally just became a high-dollar attraction in a Casino by repeatedly doing shit that would kill himself. Could easily do that, too.

I could think of a lot of stuff to do. You could even do some stunt race shit/Evel Knievel stuff and never have to worry about dying, just be down for a bit.

Iirc prison guards actually rank higher than them too. Which is why i laugher when i asked this guy why he was quitting being a cop in favor of working in the prison and his response was it was a safer job.

You couldn't be an actor because eventually people would find out about your immortality and they'd demand that you turn yourself over for scientific testing so that they could figure out how it works and gain immortality too. It's also not complete immortality, so you should be able to kill yourself if you get tired of living. Money problems could be solved by selling your blood and body parts for research and then long, long term investments would keep you set for thousands of years if humanity doesn't kill itself.

The government would only be able to fuck with you if they're able to grab you without anyone noticing, if you were to secretly go to a doctor to figure out what was up without telling someone. You going public as "real life Wolverine" would make you pretty much immune. Also, if you're donating samples, there's not much reason they'd have to grab you. It might put you at risk of being kidnapped by a foreign power, but donating overseas would likely negate that as well.

He can get drunk. Also, as good as the heightened senses/healing/age slowing would be, it doesn't give you the badass fighting skills that Wolverine has. Also, something that people seem to be forgetting is that his healing does NOT suppress pain. An example is that actually feels a quick bit of pain when he extends his claws and they break his skin.

So I mean you could easily make more than $50 million with his powers, even if you can't fight like him, but it would likely come with the price of some hurt.

I've always thought that the worst part about being a mutant in the x-men universe is that you are mutant, but you didn't get Wolverine's power. Anyone who would take the money hasn't watched someone shrivel up and die from cancer or get stuck in a wheelchair for life from a car accident or brain injury. Money might solve your problems now, but old age, sickness, and death come for everyone in the end. Magical healing would be the gift that just kept on giving.

Now, imagine watching your wife, your children, your grandchildren, etc. all shrivel up and die while you're still in perfect health. That would literally be hell.
