You've really just demonstrated a lack of knowledge about restaurants. You're conflating good restaurants with expensive fine dining. The two can cross over but often don't. Most of my favorite restaurants arent "high end" restaurants. Sure, you're gonna pay more than you would for a taco bell meal but you dont know very much about good restaurants if you think you need to spend 300 bucks on a "fine dining experience."

I wouldn't really say it's just semantics. The whole thing with fast food is that its mass produced. Mexican street food is not mass produced by any means
