Even if a company convinces you that they do care, which they still really don't, it's still a marketing ploy to get you to buy more stuff from them because you have a false sense of being cared about, and guess what? My favorite is a more recent example of gamers declaring they were boycotting Blizzard but then were hyping up the new Modern Warfare. Its like come on guys, same damn company.
