If I'm buying something where quality is actually a consideration, or where I'm going to need help from someone working there, I tend to go to Lowe's instead. Most younger people today don't really know how to do anything other than the most simple repairs, without either contracting out to a landlord or plumber/electrician/general contractor/etc. And for most smaller, minor repairs, you can just as easily buy supplies in the home section of a local Wal-Mart or have it sent by Amazon.
