It's like you've never seen any of about 1200 jokes that focus on how short British shows are. And also, I'll be honest, I'm not interested in a show that's just a thinly veiled critique on organized religion. That proved to be the dullest aspect of Game of Thrones. And Dark Materials was never that enjoyable for me to read, so I can't imagine it'll improve with television. I'm pretty excited for the Witcher adaptation and hopeful for a Lord of the Rings show, but Game of Thrones really just hit me where I live as a reader and viewer. --- "It is too easy being monsters. The stories told in that first chronicle are really enjoyable and should translate well to a show. Its not as detail-oriented as ASOIAF and I cant imagine much would/could get left out. If anything itd only expand upon certain moments. Dance of the Dragons would be incredible.
